I usually don't have a problem finding odd items, but this one has me stumped. Last year, Elemental sent me 4 oz. of 30% H2O2 in a CLEAR plastic bottle. I diluted some to 6%, and stored BOTH in oversized glass amber bottles, as recommended in an article on the web. However, they demand that a vent cap should be used, although in may be useless if the product is not shipped or stored upright.
Googled "vented cap" and got baseball caps with net backs! No better luck with other searches or contact with bottle sources. United States Plastic, my main source, had no idea what I was inquiring about.
Although I pop the caps on a regular basis, the near 100 degree weather here the last few days prompted me to move it from the lab to a cool basement for now.
Any sources or suggestions, contact at labohio@ymail.com. (No big scientific operation, just my initials backward and my state of residence.)
